Senior Pastors pray over TOUCH Community Theatre

Saturday, May 3, 2014

TOUCH Community Theatre (TCT) is currently in its first phase of demolition. On April 29, 2014, Senior Pastors Lawrence and Nina Khong, Deputy Senior Pastor Eugene Seow, along with FCBC’s team pastors, took time out amidst their busy schedules, to survey the progress of the TCT Rebuilding Project.

The day began with a time of corporate worship and prayer amongst the pastors and staff of FCBC at Rubikon, where TCT Rebuilding Project and other upcoming challenges were committed to the Lord in prayer.

This was closely followed by an update delivered by the team of contractors, where the site utilisation, project milestones and other key information was shared.

Finally, Senior Pastors Lawrence and Nina and team proceeded to a vantage point, where they had a bird’s eye view of the construction site that TOUCH Community Theatre once stood. Right there, Senior Pastor Lawrence prayed a prayer to commit the rest of TCT Rebuilding Project’s proceedings and the team involved to the Lord.

“Lord, we thank you that the progress [of TCT Rebuilding Project] is well. We sense Your divine presence and protection over this place [TCT]. Right now, we want to pray a blessing upon this site and office. We pray for harmony, understanding and mutual cooperation amongst the team. We pray for wisdom to prevail and a deep sense of agreement and unity between the supervisors and contractors. We ask for progress to continue moving smoothly, and that all the finances we require to come at the right time. We commit TOUCH Community Theatre to you as a temple of the Lord. We pray that it will be a blessing to this neighbourhood and a place where lives are changed. We thank you for all who are involved in this project. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.” – Senior Pastor Lawrence Khong
