Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. During this 40DOF, we present to you testimonies of people who through Faith, have experienced things which they had hoped for being materialised and seen evidence of things unseen being concretised. And all this is because they have put their faith in a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above that they can ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).  We present you two testimonies as space does not permit us to present more. But we believe there are more of such testimonies. May faith arise in our hearts as we read these testimonies!

As I was praying and preparing for my first 40DOF cell meeting, God spoke to me over the week that my colleague and my helper's friend (who are both in my 40DOF group) are in need of prayers at work. True enough my colleague was encountering a lot of problems at work that week and for the first time she broke down. She is willing to trust in the Lord during these 40 days that God would transform her life and guide her through the important decision of whether to leave her job. I kept encouraging her and told her to pray to God herself so God will speak to her and lead the way for her. As for my helper's friend, she too met with problems with her employer's sister in law. As I was praying for them, I felt God's presence strongly and I can feel them releasing the pain and anguish they encountered. - Ashley Soh

As I was driving to Jurong for my first 40DOF session with  my neighbour, it started to pour torrentially. I prayed to ask God to stop the rain. Otherwise this meeting may not come to pass as my neighbour had to walk there. As I neared my destination, the sky suddenly cleared. WOW #1.

We met up at noisy McDonalds with her kid in tow, and watched the 40DOF video using headsets. God had given me some verses for her, which I had dutifully written onto the 40DOF postcard the night before. At the end of the session, I passed her the postcard. She began to cry as she read the verses because they spoke deeply to her. Then said she would like to attend my church. My jaw dropped - "wah God, so fast ah?!! 6 weeks not over yet..." WOW #2
 
I was supposed to meet up with another friend, but she postponed it last minute. She later sms-ed to ask to meet up asap, so we will meet up the day after. WOW #3.
 
The domestic help of my husband's aunt expressed her desire to become a Christian because she saw how we have been behaving, and felt the Christian God must teach very good things. WOW #4.
