Central Support Officer (Young Adults Ministry)

Department Summary:

The Central Support Department provides high quality operational and administrative services and support to churchwide-level events and projects.

Primary Role:

The primary role is to provide operational support to the Young Adults department in building a strong community to empower young adults to thrive in every area of their lives:

  • Operationalise the administrative and logistical support in young adults’ programmes, training, and camps
  • Provide on-site support for weekend services

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operationalise the administration, registration, payment, and logistical support of young adults’ programmes, training, and camps
  • Ensure smooth execution of on-site support for weekend services and church events such as G12 Asia Conference
  • Liaise with volunteers and vendors
  • Process payment and prepare reports
  • Maintain proper documentation
  • Record meeting minutes
  • Update information in the church’s member management system

Requirements:

Education/Professional Qualification

  • Polytechnic Diploma
  • Preferably with working experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Event planning or organisational skills
  • Minute taking
  • Experience in building social media presence
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Effective communication skills
  • Enjoy engaging young adults between the ages of 18 to 35
  • Good team player

Language Requirements

  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in spoken Mandarin is an added bonus

Working Conditions:

  • Able to work on weekends
  • Able to work from home

Physical Requirements:

Able to handle overnight events such as camps and retreats
