Dear family, I’m so happy to be sharing my thoughts with you from Bogota, Colombia, my spiritual homeland, where Senior Pastor Lawrence and I, along with a team of 24 disciples from FCBC, are attending the 2018 International G12 Conference. It was such a great joy to meet and catch up with both Pastors César and Claudia Castellanos, and their anointed family. We are so thrilled to see their church, International Charismatic Mission, prospering in the expansion of its backstage and production area, with plans to build another facility in the vicinity in the near future.
At the start of the conference, Pastor César reminded all of us to dream – to dream the dreams that God has given to each one of us. Subsequently, Senior Pastor Lawrence was invited onstage by Pastor César to share his dream, which is to see millions in China saved.
This year’s conference featured many notable speakers and spiritual giants, and one of them was China’s Heavenly Man, Brother Yun. I was so touched by Brother Yun’s sharing and his concluding words to those who were willing to be disciples, and lay down their lives to bring the kingdom of God to the nations.
I was instantly flooded with memories, as that was my exact experience many years ago, at our very first G12 Asia Conference. I responded to the call to serve God totally and exclusively, with the same three words, “I am willing!”
Looking back, I am amazed by how much my life has changed since my first visit to International Charismatic Mission in 2001. I know that my life will continue to be a journey of learning, and I vow to work towards the establishment of God’s kingdom in our home and our nation, for as long as I live!
Dear disciples, I urge all of us to review everything that is happening in our lives today, and consider how we are participating in bringing the kingdom of God to our homes, our offices, and our nation.
