Dear FCBC family,
As you read this, we’re just a couple of days away from the opening of “Celebration of Life” in Shenzhen, China. We’ll be performing at the Nanshan Culture and Sports Centre Theatre from the 29th of November. This sharing is a testimony of God’s faithfulness to allow Gateway Entertainment to perform this show in China. Marketing “Celebration of Life” in China has been a challenging process. We positioned it as a magical birthday party that celebrates qualities that make our lives beautiful – Faith, Hope and Love.
This weekend, quite a number of our dedicated team members are flying to Shenzhen to start our bump in. They’ll be setting up the stage and preparing the props, lighting and sound requirements for the show before Senior Pastor Lawrence and I, Priscilla, Isaac, Hannah, and other members of the team join them on Monday.
Senior Pastor Lawrence and I would like to solicit your participation as:
1. Prayer Warriors — Come alongside us and pray on-site during our five show days that the message on leading a happy and meaningful life will be clearly communicated to the audience, without any preaching.
2. Fervent Supporters — Take a weekend trip to attend some or all of our shows in Shenzhen. You’ll have first-hand experience of how we produce a show overseas. You’ll also get to sit back and enjoy these last few shows by the Magic of Lawrence & Priscilla in 2018. Prepare to be mesmerised by our award-winning magicians, Lawrence and Priscilla Khong. You’ll be treated to a visual extravaganza filled with unbelievable tricks, impossible illusions, as well as dynamic and captivating dance numbers that colour the stage!
On top of coming to pray and support us by watching the shows, you can also gather in small groups for a short vacation in Shenzhen or Hong Kong to celebrate your lives! I exhort you to join us, and like Pastor Daniel preached last weekend, have a good time of rest.
