Dear family,
Greetings from Lima, Peru where Senior Pastor Lawrence and I, together with our Chief Operating Officer, Desmond Chua, are attending a three-day meeting by the Global Kingdom Partnership Network for pastors and marketplace disciples. This annual gathering of senior leaders from five continents is by invitation only.
Before this meeting started, Senior Pastor Lawrence was invited to preach at a G12 church pastored by Pastors Hugo and Juanita Hoyos on Monday. We met the couple in Bogota at a couple of International G12 Conferences before, and we were glad to have the opportunity to minister to their congregation.
Now as I pen my thoughts, we’ve had a horizon-broadening two days meeting and interacting with both pastors and marketplace disciples from various strategic ministries. Some of them are ministering and sharing the gospel with the refugees resettled in their countries, such as Sweden and Norway, while others are market leaders in the Arts and Entertainment arena, using strategic media products to influence our world for God. I was especially impressed that the believers from Russia and the United States are truly brothers-in-Christ, mutually concerned for furthering God’s work in each other’s country, contrary to the political standoff between their two countries.
I’m so thankful to have been part of this gathering of disciples, as it gave me a glimpse of how life on earth can be when God’s Kingdom is established here!
