Since entering our 40th year of pastoral ministry last year, Senior Pastor Nina and I have been on the road for almost 12 months engaging in fast moving, mind stretching, physically exhausting but spiritually invigorating world ministry. This diverse spectrum of ministries includes promoting the G12 Vision all over Asia and engaging Asian pastors to defend and champion natural marriage. We also have been actively promoting the Empowered21 movement among key leaders, as well as training churches in their development of community services. Alongside all of these were the evangelistic magic shows that we staged in Korea, Taiwan and China, where we used the divine opportunity to lay the foundations for conquering the Arts and Entertainment arena in these countries through Gateway Entertainment.
As I write this, Senior Pastor Nina and I are on our way to Las Vegas to plan for a new show that’s coming up in September. Following that, we’re heading off to Lima, Peru to attend an international gathering of key pastors and marketplace leaders to understand and embrace what God is doing globally.
When we return, we’ll be taking a break and I’ll be undergoing a replacement surgery for my right knee. Although recovery from the surgery will likely ground me in Singapore for the next six months, I believe that God has orchestrated this for a time of rest and restoration, as well as spiritual regeneration. I am looking forward to it and I’d like to solicit your prayers for a successful surgery and rapid healing on my knee, so I can run the next lap of my life and ministry with fervour together with my faithful and lovely wife, Nina.
I am claiming the promise of God found in Isaiah 40:31, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
May this promise be fulfilled not only in the lives of Senior Pastor Nina and I, but also in the lives of all of us in FCBC.
