Upon the invitation of Pastor Leo Carlo Panlilio, the Senior Pastor of the Destiny Churches network in Philippines, Rev Simon and Pastor Marilyn Yee were invited to make a trip to Davao City over Momentum weekend to run their Marriage Encounter Weekend (MEW). The first village we visited in Timor Leste is called Tiha-Aitahan. It was the smallest and closest village we visited, and the only one without a toilet! This village has an interesting history. The village chief, who was not a believer, had a really bad temper

Learning is not confined to a classroom. The students of Faith Community Bible School’s (FCBS) 2014 intake experienced the reality of this commonly heard statement when they were treated to an experiential learning trip in Batam.

Mongolia’s spiritual climate has been poor this past two years as Christianity is a minority religion, but we thank God for the G12 Mongolia Conference as the presence of the Lord could be felt strongly. The Conference was organised by Pastor Oh Hyo Kang, the G12 Mongolia Coordinator, at Uliastai Church.

The highly anticipated G12 Korea Conference 2014 took place from 14 – 16 August 2014 at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Seoul.

For the second year running, several tribes under Pastor Simon and Marilyn Yee were tasked to step out of their comfort zone during the June holidays and bless the nation of Philippines, hence the name "Bless Philippines Mission 2014". However, it seems though their purpose was to bless, they ended up being blessed. Indeed, our God works in marvelous ways! Find out how the Lord worked through the teams to bless the Philippines by reading these stories of their escapades:

This was my first mission trip since I accepted Christ 14 years ago.

Bright and early at 7.00am, the team of 12 reported at Changi Airport Terminal 2. Packed with medicine supplies, electrical equipments and gifts of love for our missionaries in Timor Leste, the team was all ready for our adventure!

Pastors Cesar and Claudia Castellanos, founders of the G12 Vision, hosted the annual G12 International Conference 2014 in Bogota, Colombia.

On 15 October 2013, all 12 members of the Love Timor Medical Mission Trip left Singapore on 15 October 2013 with bags of medicine and food for the Gideonites based in Timor Leste.

For two days, Team FCBC, led by Senior Pastor Nina Khong, breathed and soaked in the exhilaration, awesomeness and of course, God’s power that headlined the 7th annual G12 Philippines Conference.

I thank God for giving me an experience that I will never forget. I had a great team led by Pastors Richard and Jenny Ong whose interpersonal skills were great.

A team from FCBC, led by Senior Pastors Lawrence and Nina Khong, together with Deputy Senior Pastor Eugene Seow, Pastors Poh Wee Long and Daniel Khong, and I – Asher Tan, ministry intern, joined over 3,000 Christians in Japan for the first-ever Empowered21 All Japan Conference held in Kyoto.

Overall it was a fruitful and satisfying trip for all of us. Although we were few, the small size of the group worked to our advantage.

The cell members of Pastor Angela and Wai Kiong’s tribe and the volunteer team’s families came to the airport to send us off.

Pastor Catherine Foo, a beloved pastor who is most passionate in serving the nations, departed Singapore on August 10, 2013 together with Julie Teo and Low Hong Sang for a three-year mission venture in Viqueque, Timor Leste.

Senior Pastors Lawrence and Nina Khong, along with a large group of FCBC members bid farewell to the Gideonite team.
