Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to site staff and contractors in planning, coordination, and execution of service project to ensure timely delivery and procedure adherence
  • Liaise with external agencies on regulations governing the building and its facilities
  • Oversee overall facilities management, including services such as pest control, landscaping, cleaning and security
  • Plan, formulate, manage and oversee the fitting-out, operations, maintenance and upkeep of the building and its facilities
  • Supervise and manage contractors in fulfilling their contractual obligations and ensure smooth operations in the building
  • Ensure all preventive maintenance programmes for equipments/systems in the building complies with relevant legislation and safe work procedures
  • Develop and implement facilities emergency plan, which documents the procedures during building evacuation – assist emergency response teams in assessing building condition, locate missing personnel, shut off utilities, deliver status report to assembly point leaders, etc

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facility Management or relevant fields, with at least 5 years relevant working experience or Diploma with 10 years relevant working experience
  • Good understanding of M&E system, including ACMV
  • Leadership to manage on-site team
  • Able to maintain good working relationships with vendors
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills and able to interact with all members of the team

Overall Purpose

The Senior Marketing Executive plays an important role in marketing and selling Gateway’s programmes and activities. 

The Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for creating, developing and implementing marketing plans to sell Gateway’s programmes, products and activities.

Management of marketing budgets and evaluation on resulting financial returns are an essential component of this role. The Senior Marketing Executive also works closely with the Sales Manager and Programme Manager to ensure promotion of products/programmes are fully utilised and communicated.

He/She will have to benchmark marketing communications strategies, including advertising and promotions, and media relations for Gateway’s programmes and activities so as to create public awareness and maximise attendance and revenue for the Company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore, propose, plan, drive and monitor marketing communications strategies for Gateway’s programmes and activities
  • Build support, generate publicity and maximise attendance and revenue through activities such as advertising and promotions, direct marketing, media relations, database management, event management, and digital marketing
  • Responsible for the production of all promotional collateral and publicity materials, and all advertisements including promotional brochures, TV and radio advertisements, banners and posters, e-banners, etc
  • Manage the budget for Gateway’s programmes and collaborations
  • Keep up-to-date of market trends, and understand the programmes and approaches of key competitors
  • Implement market/audience research to better understand customer behaviour/trends, analyse findings and share insights
  • Establish a network of reliable media contacts to maximise publicity and contacts within the arts community
  • Cultivate ties with special interest groups, clubs and associations, media owners and buyers, as well as any other marketing partners to leverage opportunities to benefit Gateway, in terms of goodwill, marketing channels, media rates, promotional opportunities, etc

Main Responsibilities

  • Attend to day-to-day operations and running of the building.
  • Assist Facilities Manager in scheduling, planning, organising and managing staff responsible for maintenance, repair and upkeep of buildings and facilities. Prioritise organisational needs, complaints and work orders. Coordinate with other departments to schedule time frame for completion and schedule work assignments.
  • Inspect building and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions and needed repairs, and make recommendations of rectification.
  • Assist Facilities Manager to conduct periodical reviews with team members to ensure timely follow-up of service requests, complaints and feedback.
  • Assist in managing contracts for maintenance services provided by external vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
  • Assist to develop policies and procedure manuals for building maintenance functions, grounds maintenance and custodial services.

Other Duties

  • Perform minor electrical maintenance, including but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballasts, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc).
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces, using brush, sprayer or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc).

Requirements

  • Diploma/Higher Nitec in Facilities Management/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Building Management, Building Maintenance or Facilities Management for a commercial building.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Possess good communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid Fire Safety Manager Certificate will be an advantage.

Overall Purpose

The Junior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing department to come up with collaterals. He/She is expected to create engaging designs according to the requirements. He/She will work under the supervision of the Marketing department to produce high-quality work.

Responsibilities 

  • Conceptualise, propose and execute unique and effective design concepts, solutions and materials that visually engage audiences. Media may include prints, digital advertising (i.e. social media, website) and any ATL and BTL marketing materials.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing draft layout of art and copy with regards to arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Maintain visual consistency across all visuals that are produced for the brand.
  • Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes.
  • Liaise with print vendors and external production resources to ensure optimal output of finalised materials.
  • Plan concept by studying information and materials.
  • Schedule project implementation, define budget constraints and meet deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements 

Proven graphic designing experience, ideally in e-commerce or tech.

Job Purpose

To lead and execute with a team of audio techs to set up, operate, and maintain the technical audio equipment and inventories; used to enhance live sound events, and in-house or out-bound recording productions.

The individual should harness certain level of field experience in audio mixing and productions, and should be able to employ a range of industries’ relevant equipment, skill sets, tools and software to fulfill the company’s audio production and technical needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Using leadership skills, field experience/expertise and teamwork skills, the Audio Engineer will be required to lead, plan, support and facilitate audio set-ups and productions within the company’s umbrella of operatives.

These include small to large-scale productions, both theatrical and conferences, mixing for bands, talk shows, recording productions and teaching seminars.

The individual will also be required to supervise, teach and troubleshoot workflow and technical faults from time to time so that the team can execute seamless audio productions, which can include editing and mastering on audio interfaces and software, as well as system patching and troubleshooting audio systems, all within the scope of audio productions.

The individual will also be accountable for the department’s inventory management, maintaining the equipment’s operationality, and making sensible financial decisions that will benefit the company, and as part of business continuity process.

The individual will be required to have a high level of knowledge and skill sets to handle equipment such as microphones, recorders, live sound consoles, field mixers and audio peripherals, and audio software. The individual must be able to comprehend and draw audio technical schematics. Working in a team, he/she must be able to support fellow colleagues and superiors as a team player and leader through accountability and effective communication.

As an Audio Engineer, he/she will need to support the head of department and superiors in planning riders, assigning tasks and supervision of junior staff that report to him/her. As such, the individual should possess office software skills, for documentation and email communication.

  • Assist Venue Sales Manager/Senior Sales Executive to reconcile ticket sales report from SISTIC or other ticketing agents before confirming the final billing with Finance.
  • Liaise with creative agencies and vendors on marketing projects, including design and printing works.
  • Involvement in brand management and implementation.
  • Oversee development of advertising and sales & marketing materials including sales kit, advertisements, etc.

  • Coordinate all communications between technical team, facilities and client, to ensure Hirer’s productions and events runs smoothly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Hirer to ensure that technical requirements for productions and events are met.
  • Liaise with the Technical team, Sales team and Facilities team to ensure that requirements for production and events are met.
  • Attend site recce with the Sales team pertaining to venue hire.
  • Arrange and attend production meetings with Hirer and relevant technical team members.
  • Responsible for preparing schedules, detailed logistical plans and contact sheets for multiple events.
  • Ensure venue specifications, site maps and all signages are done to a high standard.
  • Produce two dimensional drawings, layouts and site maps using CAD.
  • Provide administrative support for the contracting of technical staff.
  • Advise departments within the company of deadlines for production administration.
  • Assist with site set up and tear down if necessary.
  • Assist with front-of-house duties if necessary.
