To execute the organisation’s audio productions and lead the junior audio technical crew in fulfilling the following roles. These may include; but not limited to:
- Front of House Mixing
- Broadcast Audio Mixing
- Studio Recording Mixing
Work processes will include working with the audio team to plan, set up, operate, and maintain the technical equipment and inventories.
The individual should possessthe requisite field experience in:
- Audio mixing and productions
- Audio Digital Work stations
- Dante and Audio Networking knowledge
- System and audio tuning/calibration knowledge
Duties
- Audio Content Producing and Mixing for:
- Small to large scale productions
- Theatrical productions
- Conferences and Seminars
- Band and musicals
- Technical Responsibilities:
- Draw and comprehend Schematic Drawings
- Troubleshoot workflow and technical faults
- Leadership Management
- Coach audio engineers and volunteers to mix
- Lead, supervise, plan and support/facilitiate audio setups and productions under the company’s umbrella of operatives.
- Budgetary and resources planning
- Inventories Management
- Manpower planning and schedule/rostering
- Training and Education/Skills upgrading
- Be a Team player and encourage teamwork
The candidate will be required to be accountable to respective superiors on audio subject matters as the expert and present sensible financial decisions that will maintain ready operations and ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Education/Professional Qualification:
- Education – Diploma in Sound or Electrical Engineering (or any other engineering or technical fields preferred)
- Relevant Professional Certification
- Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Specialised knowledge/Skills: Audio Engineering - Live Sound Mixing (FOH / Broadcast /DAW / Livestreaming / Studio), Recording/Broadcast Mixing and Editing, Systems Calibration/patching. Knowing Autocad is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Software skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook/email)
- Experience: 5years in relevant field
- Desired characteristics include dependable, accountable, meticulous, neat, and an effective communicator
- Health:
- Physically abled
- Pass a hearing test
- Language Requirements:
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Preferably also conversant in Mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking clients and suppliers and able to prepare basic bilingual signages and posters.
Working Conditions:
- Able to work on-site on weekends.
- Able to manage overnight events such as camps and retreats.
- Willing to put in extended hours for a season leading up to key events. Appropriate off-in-lieu will be provided thereafter.
