Volunteer with TOUCH International

If you are keen to serve the nations through missions, TOUCH International is opening up more opportunities to serve at the end of the year.

A disaster relief trip is planned from 20 to 28 October to Noto, Japan. Volunteers will support in work such as retrieving and sorting belongings of affected residents and clearing the debris of homes that were badly damaged by the earthquake.

There is also a community development trip to Lahan, Nepal from 16 to 25 November. Volunteers will be involved in installing handpumps to enable households to have easy access to clean water. They will also be painting the community hall that was built by the team mobilised earlier in April.

Volunteers for both trips need to be able to converse in basic English and be physically fit as there will be moving of heavy items and other manual labour.

TOUCH International is organising info sessions on 30 July for Noto in Japan, and 1 August for Lahan in Nepal. Attendance at these sessions is compulsory to sign up for the trips.
