In Acts 17:26-27, Apostle Paul stood up and preached, “He [God] has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord”. Believe me, FCBC disciples, we were chosen and appointed to live in this present time to fulfill the destiny that God has for Singapore as a body of Christ.
It is the will of God that a nation has godly and good government so that the gospel can be preached, and salvation may freely come to all. We play an important role in this as we can collectively lift up our spiritual leaders, our government and our nation in prayer. Only by doing so can we advance the kingdom of God. God has promised us in Matthew 18:19 that “if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”
This was brought about at the recent Momentum conference, which was a phenomenal gathering of 5,000 disciples at The Star Theatre. As one united body, we prayed to raise up ‘HOPE’, or ‘Houses Of Prayer Everywhere’, in Singapore in preparation for the mighty harvest that will happen on the Celebration of Hope in May 2019 at the National Stadium.
Momentum ended with an awesome visual picture of all the pastors of Singapore on-stage praying and blessing each other’s ministry as gatekeepers of our nation. Indeed, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (Psalm 33:12)
