I sense in my spirit that a spirit of prayer is arising in the body of Christ. The 40-Day Solemn Assembly that led to Day of His Power was preparation for the ultimate prayer event of the year – PraySingapore. Come 7 October, when the body of Christ assembles at the National Stadium, I believe that we will take hold of God in desperate prayer and God will lay hold of us and embrace us. God will pour out His spirit of power upon His people to fulfill His purpose in this nation.
The question is: Are you ready?
The Bible says in Psalm 110:3 (KJV), “Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness”. The NKJV version puts it this way, “Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power”.
In the day of His power, God is willing to bless. However, His people must be willing as well. I like the term “volunteers” used in the NKJV version. There will be no difference between the clergy and laity. Everyone becomes a volunteer. The clergy will give of themselves, not because it is an occupation, but an obsession for the purposes of God. The laity will be willing to serve the Lord as a calling to win souls and make disciples.
Hard work may be ahead, but God’s people are willing. So, will you be part of this anointed community of volunteers on the day of His power?
