Earlier this week, Senior Pastor Lawrence and I, together with Pastor Wee Long, flew to France to attend the G12 France Conference and Europe Chinese Revival Conference. We landed in Paris on Monday morning and headed straight for the G12 France Conference. The host, Pastor Dominique Roellinger, invited Senior Pastor Lawrence to speak. It was such a joy and a very pleasant surprise when we met up with Pastor Laudjair Guerra and his wife, Eline, at the conference. During his session, Senior Pastor Lawrence preached a message on being a star. He urged the delegates to take a stand for God and shine into the world.
Next up was the Europe Chinese Revival Conference! Senior Pastor Lawrence was invited by Pastor Hu, the host, to be one of the speakers at this three-day conference. Other speakers also included our friends, Pastor Dennis Balcombe and Brother Yun. The aim of the conference is to bring about revival in Europe through the Chinese Christians. Senior Pastor Lawrence agreed at once as he values the Chinese Christians in Europe. Back during the first year of the conference, he prophesied that they are ‘buried dynamite’ whom God will use to bring revival to Europe and the world.
The first day of the Europe Chinese Revival Conference coincidentally fell on the 500th anniversary of the reformation of the church. According to popular belief, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenburg Castle church on that day. He questioned the practices of the church out of a desire to free it from its bondage. This brought about a revival and led to each one of us having a personal relationship with Christ today. So to mark this significant occasion, all the pastors at the conference gathered to pray for revival in Europe. We believe and claimed with faith that revival will descend upon this continent, and that the church will rise up to be the salt and light of the world!
To our surprise, we bumped into a fellow FCBC member, Marienne, at the conference. She’s currently on a student exchange programme in France and decided to take the opportunity to attend this conference. It was so lovely to meet our FCBC family while ministering overseas!
Dear family, Senior Pastor Lawrence and I hope to see more of you when we travel overseas to minister. You are most welcome to join us! In fact, having your presence around gives us support. So if you’re interested in accompanying us on our next trip, do check with your team pastors for more details!
