Dear family,
Greetings from Las Vegas where Senior Pastor Lawrence and I have been these last six days. Four of the six days were spent with our long-time friend and magician, Jeff McBride, birthing and perfecting new magic routines to enlarge Senior Pastor Lawrence’s repertoire of tricks and illusions, with a significant addition for his sharing and teaching on life issues through magic. It has truly been an amazing week! Throughout this week, like the psalmist did in Psalm 90:17, I was asking for the favour of the Lord to rest on us and establish the work of our hands. Yes, establish the work of Senior Pastor Lawrence’s magical hands!
We deeply appreciate all your prayers for our ski vacation and journey mercy since we left Singapore last weekend. I was particularly concerned while we were driving over snow-covered roads from the ski slopes at South Lake Tahoe to Reno-Tahoe Airport, where we were to catch our flight to Las Vegas. Thanks to all your prayers, we arrived safely and caught our plane on time.
We are so thankful to God for this fruitful time and to be able to practise Apostle Paul’s exhortation to the Colossians – that in whatever we did, whether in word or deed, we were able to do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. (Colossians 3:17)
